Manchester Orchestra - Virgin

The best song from the album. Needed a better ‘breakdown’ after all the buildup though.

oh well, still a good listen

-Eric

This album was kinda meh. It was alright, but not exceptional. I was also surprised that it didn’t even have one song that really stuck out. There was one I liked, but it wasn’t as exceptional as “I Can Feel A Hot One.” idk maybe I just had too high of expectations.

Leonard Cohen - Hallelujah

Actually the best version of this song. Also, the original.

-Kelson

Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah

by far the best version of this song

Brand New

—Seventy Times 7

Seventy Times 7 - Brand New

I used to not like old Brand New, but it’s definitely grown on me. This song is one of my favorites, but it also exemplifies the fact that they didn’t know each other as a band back then. At a few points in the song, specifically at the beginning and right before the vocal interlude, the instruments seem to be fighting each other.
